BauXo’s head designer, Hariyono, draws inspiration from Java, his own cultural background, from Bali, the rest of Asia, Europe and North America, to create his delightful eco-jewelry designs from pre-cycled (repurposed) leather and other materials.

Hariyono and his Canadian partners, Jeneen Gacek and Diana DeLuca, are committed to the Indonesian community by providing work opportunities, excellent working conditions, fair wages and education.

The BauXo philosophy is “passion for life is the greatest accessory.” Clearly, the partners live the philosophy by creating soulful jewelry, promoting social justice and eco-consciousness.
