When founder Ellen Dorsch worked with a public health non-profit in Africa, she was by the many talented women who, though they created Ethiopia's exquisite hand-embroidered textiles, were economically marginalized. Ellen took on the challenge of bringing fair trade work to these creative women while bringing these exquisite textiles to you. Creative Women has grown beyond Ethiopia to Swaziland to Afghanistan and beyond.
