Be Sweet was born while founder Nadine Storyk Curtis was living in South Africa. She fell in love with the local handicrafts and decided to help Xhosa craftswomen in the impoverished East Cape region to bring their exquisite goods to a wider market in the USA.

The company now creates much needed jobs for women, donates to a local East Cape school, and brings gorgeous eco-friendly hand-knit accessories to the USA for widespread delight. Enjoy!
