Meghan’s own wedding ring was her first fine jewelry creation. At the time, she had no idea it would become her business and passion. But word spread and there was no denying the momentum.

The Beginning

Meghan found it a long, arduous, and ultimately futile process to find a socially and environmentally responsible ring from traditional sources. She was even told “you can’t make jewelry from recycled metals.” Such false information from jewelers left her frustrated and convinced there was no ring available that she would feel good about wearing.

So, she designed one. She sourced the diamonds, researched the metals and hired a manufacturer. The result was a ring matching her personality and values. And the founding of C5 Company.

The Heart

Like many consumers today, Meghan believes beauty and craftsmanship should exist in socially and environmentally responsible fine jewelry. She began designing because she “recognized a void in what was being offered by the traditional diamond and jewelry industry…conscious consumers had no options.”
